Remember that if you incorporate a higher percentage of sugary fruits and vegetables such as apples and carrots, you can end up ingesting a sugar-rich juice that can increase your blood glucose. That is not to say that you cannot have these vegetables, but beware that the juice proportions are low in the Glycemic Index.
